Steal A Pet And Ride It: Secret and Singularity Rarities Explained
Secret is a real rarity label in Steal A Pet And Ride It, while Singularity is a rare night-egg drop name. What each means and how to recognize both in game.
Quick answer
Secret is a rarity label the game itself uses: it appears on the colour band of the pet card revealed after you open a cage, and secret-labelled cages and eggs exist too. In documented gameplay, Singularity appears as a drop from refreshed night eggs during world progression rather than as a band on pet cards — players grab it, and one player says it must sell for a high price.
- Recognize Secret by the SECRET band on a revealed pet card, or by cages and eggs that carry the secret name.
- Recognize Singularity by watching night egg refreshes: it is the drop one player calls the best one, though that player also says it is quite rare to appear and that the similar Omega is usually a bit more frequent.
What the Secret label means
Secret is one of the rarity names the game itself uses. In a Rarity context on the game's official Roblox page, the game highlights pulling one with the message "You pulled a Secret pet. Not many people can say that!" — phrasing that tells you a Secret pull is meant to be an uncommon brag, not an everyday result.
How to recognize Secret in game
The secret name shows up in three places, and each one is easy to check:
- The pet card's colour band. After you steal a cage, carry it back to your base and open it once the countdown reads Ready, the cage reveals a pet card. The card shows the pet's name, a rarity colour band (RARE, EPIC, COMMON and SECRET are among the labels), an odds line such as "Normal - 1 in 45" or "Normal - 1 in 390", stat lines like "RUN FASTER 1.25x" or "EARNS CASH $20/s", and a RIDE button. If the band reads SECRET, you have pulled a Secret pet.
- Secret cages. The cages themselves can carry the secret name. Players haul them into their base like any other cage — one player showed off several, including a gold one, and one of those was a gift from another player, so a cage can reach you from sources other than the map.
- The secret egg. In the later worlds, a secret egg sits at the Sun area alongside Cosmic-labelled eggs. Its contents are gacha — random — so you won't know what is inside until it opens.
What Singularity means
Singularity is a different kind of name. In documented gameplay, it appears as a drop from refreshed night eggs during world progression rather than as a band on pet cards. One player waiting for the night refresh calls Singularity "the best one to drop" and urges "make sure you collect Singularity", describing it as quite rare to appear and something that must sell for a high price. The same player contrasts it with Omega, which usually appears a bit more often, and later groups the two together at the Black Hole eggs: "Omega is definitely what people are looking for, along with Singularity."
How to spot a Singularity drop
Eggs refresh at night as you move through world progression, so the practical move is to be around when that happens and check what appeared. Singularity is the name to look for: one player treats it as the best drop of the refresh while calling it quite rare to appear — and, in that player's words, the similar Omega usually turns up a bit more often. Grab it when you see it. Players collect it; one player says its rarity means it must sell for a high price.
The short version
Secret is the label you can verify at a glance: on a pet card's colour band, on a cage in your base, or on the secret egg in the later worlds. Singularity is a specific rare drop you recognize by name when night eggs refresh. The World 2 guide explains the later areas.
