What the Dinosaur Era Cage is
Steal A Pet And Ride It advertises the Limited Dinosaur Era Cage in the "NEW" section of its World 2 update notes on the official game page. It sits alongside the new Moon, Ocean, Crystal, Shadow, Storm and Black Hole content, a second barn with new barn skins, and meteor showers — see the World 2 guide for what else that update brought.
The cage is advertised as limited, but the announcement gives no window for how long it is available. Check the game’s official description for any availability details.
What's inside the cage
The confirmed contents are 12 limited pets. That is everything the official description commits to: it does not name any individual pet. The announcement does not provide a pet roster.
How it fits into the cage-stealing loop
The official How to Play steps describe the game's cage-stealing loop:
- Steal cages from sleeping bosses.
- Run home before the boss catches you.
- Open the cages to discover rare pets.
- Ride your pets to become even faster.
- Earn cash from the pets in your barn.
Cages are the hinge of that loop: a steal only pays off once the cage is opened and the pet inside joins your collection, where it feeds the two systems that make you faster and richer — riding speed and barn cash. A limited cage like the Dinosaur Era Cage is a source of limited pets for exactly that pipeline.
One caution: the announcement does not say how the Dinosaur Era Cage is obtained. The same update notes say meteor showers bring rare cages, but they do not list the Dinosaur Era Cage among them, so don't assume it drops from sleeping bosses or from meteor showers.
